
Forbes Middle East has recognized Ahmed Imbabi, Director of Brand, Corporate Communications & Sustainability at e& Egypt, in its list of the Middle East’s Most Impactful Marketing Leaders 2026, in recognition of his role in driving the company’s brand transformation, marketing, communications, and reputation-building strategies, while strengthening e& Egypt’s position as one of the region’s leading technology and telecommunications brands.
Imbabi assumed his current role in January 2024, having first joined e& Egypt in 2012. Through his leadership, he oversees the company’s brand, corporate communications, and sustainability functions, supporting e& Egypt’s strategic objectives across brand development, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business growth.
Since assuming his current role, Imbabi has played a pivotal role in leading e& Egypt’s brand transformation journey, helping drive the company’s evolution from a telecommunications operator into a technology-focused brand and digital enabler. He contributed to the successful rollout of the e& brand identity in Egypt and supported the expansion of the company’s technology-driven ecosystem through the launch and growth of key verticals, including e& money and e& business. He also oversaw major integrated marketing and communications initiatives, including landmark sponsorships such as Al Ahly SC and the Egyptian National Football Team, helping strengthen e& Egypt’s brand visibility, customer engagement, and market leadership. Alongside these efforts, he has continued to advance corporate reputation, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement strategies that reinforce the company’s long-term impact and growth.
In 2025, Imbabi, alongside the e& Egypt Foundation, oversaw the fifth year of the “Sehetak Asl AlHekaya” healthcare initiative, which has so far served more than one million beneficiaries across 10 governorates in Egypt. He also led efforts supporting a nationwide CSR campaign aimed at empowering children with hearing impairments through the establishment of speech therapy laboratories in special education schools across the country, reflecting e& Egypt’s commitment to creating meaningful and lasting social impact.
