
Orange Egypt has announced the appointment of Eng. Mohamed Shebl as the new Chief Business Officer
The move aligns with Orange’s strategy to strengthen its position as a fully integrated technology partner, delivering innovative digital solutions for enterprises and government entities. Orange Business provides a wide range of services including tailored connectivity and internet packages, digital marketing solutions through SMS and email, as well as cybersecurity and cloud services to support Egypt’s digital transformation journey.
With more than 25 years of experience in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector, Shebl has held senior leadership positions at leading global and regional firms such as Oracle, Vodafone Egypt, IBM, and Gulf Bridge International. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving innovation, boosting operational efficiency, and building strong strategic partnerships.
Since joining Orange Egypt, Shebl has played a pivotal role in steering the company’s technological transformation, helping it evolve from a traditional telecom operator into a comprehensive technology partner serving enterprises, governments, and communities. Under his leadership, the ICT division has expanded into integrated digital solutions, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
Shebl is widely recognized for his strategic vision, deep technical expertise, and ability to align ICT investments with business priorities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University and has completed advanced programs in leadership, sales, and digital transformation.
Orange Egypt emphasized that Shebl’s appointment comes at a crucial stage to meet the growing demands of the market, reinforcing the company’s role as a key enabler of digital transformation in Egypt and supporting the digital growth of its enterprise and government clients.
