42.5% Increase in Remittances from Egyptians Working Abroad During January/November 2025

Remittances from Egyptians working abroad continued their upward trend, rising by 42.5% during January/November 2025 to record a historic high of about USD 37.5 billion (compared to around USD 26.3 billion during the same period of the previous year). On a monthly basis, remittances increased by 39.9% in November 2025, registering about USD 3.6 billion (compared to around USD 2.6 billion in November 2024).
